Veterans Scuba Day with Barracks Legend Foundation

Sunday, August 30, 2026 | Morning Pool Session & Afternoon Two-Tank Dive

Grateful Divers Worldwide, in partnership with the Barracks Legend Foundation, invites veterans to join us for a day of connection, camaraderie, and underwater adventure in Pompano Beach.

This event is open to veterans of all experience levels, including first-time divers, returning divers, and certified divers looking to get back in the water.

The Barracks Legend Foundation supports veterans by creating meaningful experiences that reduce isolation, strengthen camaraderie, and promote mental wellness and connection.

The day will begin with a morning pool session at Sands Harbor, where participants can build comfort and confidence with scuba equipment in a controlled environment. After lunch and time together, the group will head to South Florida Diving Headquarters to board the Goliath for an afternoon two-tank dive.

Participants must review and complete the required medical paperwork before entering the water. Please review the attached medical form and contact us with any questions before the event.
