First Annual Grateful Lionfish Derby

Saturday, August 15 | Afternoon Dive & Dockside Celebration

Grateful Divers Worldwide is excited to announce the First Annual Grateful Lionfish Derby, taking place at South Florida Diving Headquarters in Pompano Beach.

This will be an official FWC Lionfish Derby, with Zookeeper involved, bringing together divers, conservation, community, and a whole lot of fun for a great cause.

The derby will take place during an afternoon dive aboard South Florida Diving Headquarters, followed by a dockside celebration where we’ll cook up the catch, enjoy food, drinks, libations, and host a raffle with tons of great prizes.

Prizes will be awarded for:

Most Lionfish

Biggest Lionfish

Smallest Lionfish

We’ll keep everything right at the dock for easy logistics, making it simple for divers, volunteers, friends, family, and supporters to join the celebration after the dive.
