SUMMARY:Aquaman Adaptive Confined Water Training
DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, July 11 | Time TBD \nGrateful Divers Worldwide will host an adaptive confined water training session for several participants who have already completed their scuba academics and are ready to take the next step in the pool before progressing to the ocean for open water training. \nThis session marks an important milestone for this group from Miami and will be the first of many classes designed to help participants build confidence\, develop foundational scuba skills\, and move toward full open water certification in a safe\, supportive\, and adaptive environment. \nThis program is being held in honor and memory of our dear friend Sergio\, also known as “Aquaman\,” whose love for the water\, adventure\, and community continues to inspire the work we do. \nWe are looking for adaptive instructors\, divemasters\, and trained dive buddies to assist with this confined water training session and help create a safe\, encouraging experience for each participant. \nProgram Impact Includes: \nExpanding access to adaptive scuba training for people living with disabilities \nSupporting participants as they move from academics into hands-on pool training \nBuilding confidence\, independence\, and comfort in the water \nCreating a pathway toward open water certification and future ocean dives \nHonoring Sergio “Aquaman” through continued service\, inclusion\, and adventure \nPresented by Grateful Divers Worldwide.
