Grateful Divers Worldwide Discover Scuba Experience at Wahoo Bay 🌊🐠

Grateful Divers Worldwide is hosting a Discover Scuba Experience at Wahoo Bay, a one-of-a-kind marine park located in the Hillsboro Inlet. This site combines ocean conservation, hands-on education, and interactive art to raise awareness about the importance of protecting our reefs and coastlines.

Wahoo Bay features SEAHIVE™ structures—eco-friendly, honeycomb-like formations that reduce wave energy and help prevent shoreline erosion. These structures also attract marine life, creating a perfect, shallow-water environment for beginner divers and adaptive dive training.

This month’s participants come from our ongoing Scuba4Good pool sessions. They’ve shown dedication and hard work, and are now ready to experience a real-world confined ocean dive for the first time!

We’re in need of certified adaptive dive buddies to volunteer for this special event.  All volunteers are expected to be self-sufficient and come prepared with their own gear, weights, and one tank. The dive will take place during slack high tide to ensure calm, safe conditions.
