Discover Scuba Experience at Christine E. Lynn Rehabilitation Center

Grateful Divers Worldwide (GDW) will host an adaptive Discover Scuba Experience at the Christine E. Lynn Rehabilitation Center, part of Jackson Memorial Hospital. This unique program will take place in the facility’s state-of-the-art therapy pool, providing a safe, controlled environment designed specifically for rehabilitation and adaptive movement.

This experience offers people living with disabilities the opportunity to explore scuba diving under close supervision by trained adaptive dive professionals. The program is designed to support confidence, independence, and engagement beyond traditional clinical care, complementing the Center’s comprehensive rehabilitation services.

Program Impact Includes:

  • Expanding access to adaptive scuba experiences for people living with disabilities

  • Supporting confidence and independence through experiential, non-clinical engagement

  • Strengthening partnerships between healthcare institutions and adaptive recreation programs
