Discover Scuba at the J: Wahoo Bay Edition

Grateful Divers Worldwide (GDW) is excited to continue our partnership with the David M. Posnack Jewish Community Center with a special ocean experience at Wahoo Bay on Sunday, June 28th, from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM.

After completing three successful pool sessions together, participants will have the opportunity to take the next step in their scuba journey in the calm, shallow waters of Wahoo Bay. This unique environment offers an exciting transition from pool skills to open-water exploration in a controlled, supportive setting.

Wahoo Bay provides a fantastic space for participants to build confidence, practice skills, observe marine life, and experience the freedom and adventure that make scuba diving so powerful. We continue to be inspired by the enthusiasm, determination, and growth shown by this incredible group throughout their training sessions.

GDW is seeking volunteers, buddies, and certified dive professionals to help support participants in and around the water. Join us for a meaningful morning of adaptive recreation, community connection, and underwater adventure as we celebrate progress, inclusion, and the belief that everyone deserves access to extraordinary experiences.
