Discover Scuba at the J: An Inclusive Underwater Experience

Grateful Divers Worldwide (GDW) is excited to partner with the David Posnack Jewish Community Center for a Discover Scuba Dive experience on Sunday, February 22, from 1:00–4:00 PM. Located in the heart of southwest Broward County, the Posnack J is a vibrant hub dedicated to enriching lives at every stage—from infant to senior—through programs that build community, confidence, and connection. This event reflects the J’s commitment to inclusive, engaging recreation that welcomes people of all ages, faiths, cultures, and identities.

Held in the J’s outstanding aquatics facility, this pool-based Discover Scuba program introduces participants to scuba diving in a safe, supportive, and accessible environment. GDW is currently seeking volunteers and certified dive professionals to assist with in-water support, equipment setup, and participant guidance. Join us for an impactful afternoon that blends adaptive recreation, community engagement, and the shared belief that everyone deserves access to meaningful experiences—above and below the surface.
