Monday, April 27, 2026 | 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM (Closing Session)
Wyndham Resort at Disney Springs

This session is part of the Florida State Association of Rehabilitation Nurses (FSARN) 49th Annual Educational Conference, themed “Rehab Under the Sea…Diving Deep into Recovery.” The hybrid conference brings together rehabilitation nurses from across the Southeast representing inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, post-acute settings, home health, veterans services, education, insurance, and case management.

This closing session explores adaptive scuba diving as an innovative, experiential approach that complements traditional rehabilitation by supporting physical engagement, psychological well-being, and meaningful community reintegration for individuals living with disability and chronic illness. Emphasis is placed on real-world program models and the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration between rehabilitation professionals and adaptive dive programs.
