Veterans Discover Scuba & Refresher Dive Day
Sunday, August 9 | Morning Pool Session & Afternoon Two-Tank Dive
Grateful Divers Worldwide invites veterans to join us for a special day of healing, community, and underwater exploration in Pompano Beach.
This event is open to veterans of all experience levels. Whether you have never tried scuba before or you are a certified diver who could use a refresher, this day is designed to provide a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment to get in the water.
The morning will begin with a pool session at Sands Harbor in Pompano Beach, where participants will build comfort, confidence, and familiarity with scuba equipment in a controlled setting. After the pool session, we’ll break for lunch and camaraderie before heading to South Florida Diving Headquarters to board the Goliath for an afternoon two-tank dive.
All scuba gear, tanks, and instruction will be provided by Grateful Divers Worldwide.
Participants must review and complete the required medical paperwork before participating. Please see the attached medical form and reach out with any questions before the event.
