 ate Association of Rehabilitation Nurses (FSARN) 49th Annual Educational C
 onference\, themed “Rehab Under the Sea…Diving Deep into Recovery.” 
 The hybrid conference brings together rehabilitation nurses from across th
 e Southeast representing inpatient rehabilitation\, acute care\, post-acut
 e settings\, home health\, veterans services\, education\, insurance\, and
  case management.\nThis closing session explores adaptive scuba diving as 
 an innovative\, experiential approach that complements traditional rehabil
 itation by supporting physical engagement\, psychological well-being\, and
  meaningful community reintegration for individuals living with disability
  and chronic illness. Emphasis is placed on real-world program models and 
 the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration between rehabilitation p
 rofessionals and adaptive dive programs.\nTitle: Adaptive Scuba Diving: An
  Innovative Approach to Rehabilitation and Recovery\nLearner ObjectivesBy 
 the end of this session\, participants will be able to describe the physio
 logical and psychological mechanisms by which adaptive scuba diving suppor
 ts rehabilitation and recovery. Participants will be able to identify appr
 opriate candidate populations and key safety considerations for participat
 ion in adaptive diving programs. Participants will also recognize how inte
 rdisciplinary collaboration between rehabilitation professionals and adapt
 ive dive programs can enhance patient outcomes and community reintegration
 .
