 help cover our costs and make these adaptive dive opportunities possible.\
 n\nThe SDI Scubility Dive Buddy Program is designed to develop the knowled
 ge and necessary skills for an individual to effectively perform as a dive
  buddy for an individual living with a disability. The practical skills de
 veloped are the same as for the SDI Scubility Instructor\, making the dive
  buddy course an important step in the development process.\nWho this cour
 se is for:\n\n 	Certified divers looking to assist divers living with a di
 sability enjoy the underwater world and SDI Instructors wishing to become 
 an SDI Scubility Instructor\n\nCourse prerequisites:\n\n 	\n\n 	Minimum ag
 e 18\, 16 with parental consent\n 	Provide proof of:\n\n 	Current CPR and 
 first aid certification\n 	Rescue diver certification\n\n\n\n\n\nOR\n\n 	A
 dvanced Diver certification with 40 logged open water dives\n\nWhat’s in
  it for you?\n\n 	Upon successful completion of this course\, graduates ar
 e able to conduct dives with individuals living with a disability.\n 	Upon
  successful completion on this course\, SDI Assistant Instructors are able
  to functions as a Scubility Assistant\n 	SDI Open Water Scuba Diving Inst
 ructors are eligible to enroll in the upgrade course to become a Scubility
  Instructor\n\nSDI Scubility Dive Buddy minimum requirements:\n\n 	Complet
 e all open water requirements efficiently\n 	Demonstrate mature and sound 
 judgment concerning dive planning and execution\n\nYour typical class look
 s like\n\n 	3 hour classroom session Friday night going over academics and
  land clinics\n 	Pool or Lake Saturday morning to accomplished confined wa
 ter skills\n 	Boat Sunday morning or afternoon to accomplish open water sk
 ills\n\nSessions can be split up over multiple weekends—you don’t have
  to complete the entire class in one weekend.\n\nThis is subject to change
  depending on students and instructors' availability.\n\nCost for the clas
 s is $300 and covers academics\, pool or lake\, boat fees\, SDI registrati
 on\, and Instructor fees.\n\nFee must be paid to secure your spot in the c
 lass.  Instructors need to reserve the pool\, lake\, and boat well in adv
 ance to ensure smooth logistics.\n\nSee below for required medical form to
